Missy Linda just told me that because of chicken pox contagion that has reared its ugly head in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the previously scheduled Parade of Cakes must be postponed until a later date. I guess that is the joy of a holiday that is not celebrated on a specific date every time. Missy Linda is all disappointed, but she'll get over it since the holiday is only postponed, not canceled.
So far only one of the three girls in that family has become ill, but she will be contagious for several more days. It may be only a matter of time for the others, even though they have all had the first round of the inoculations. We shall see. Stay tuned for further updates.
